You will be responsible for keeping heavy vehicles and diesel systems operating reliably through accurate fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and quality repairs. Candidates with overseas experience are welcome to apply, with relevant credentials and employment history subject to verification.

Requirements

• • Diagnose faults across diesel engines and heavy vehicle systems
• • Service and repair diesel engines and associated components
• • Identify and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems
• • Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
• • Inspect heavy vehicles and determine required repairs or maintenance
• • Use diagnostic equipment and software to support accurate troubleshooting
• • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
• • Test and check vehicles following repairs and servicing
• • Maintain accurate service records, job sheets and inspection documentation
• • Report identified faults, repair requirements and maintenance issues
• • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and safe working practices
• • Keep workshop areas, tools and equipment clean and organised
• • Work effectively across workshop and outdoor environments
