Whether your background is in overhead distribution, transmission construction, tower work or plant operation, your existing skills can provide a strong foundation for building an Australian career. Requirements

• • Complete overhead distribution line construction
• • Dress and stand electrical poles
• • Perform pole replacement works
• • Install and string overhead mains
• • Work across urban and rural network projects
• • Construct transmission poles and H structures
• • Assist with transmission tower erection
• • Climb poles, towers and other structures
• • Undertake conductor and line stringing
• • Interpret engineering drawings and network documentation
• • Inspect electrical transmission infrastructure
• • Carry out maintenance-related activities
• • Operate crane/borer plant where appropriately authorised
• • Complete ancillary construction tasks
• • Identify and resolve problems on site
• • Follow electrical safety and HSE procedures
• • Maintain quality standards throughout project work
• • Work cooperatively with other trades and crews
• • Travel to different project locations
• • Work on short away-from-home assignments
• • Undertake overtime when required
