Requirements
- • Provide safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing care
- • Assess residents and respond appropriately to changes in their health and care requirements
- • Coordinate clinical activities and support effective care delivery
- • Promote resident dignity, independence, comfort and wellbeing
- • Provide leadership and guidance to care staff at ward level
- • Support team members through mentoring and professional guidance
- • Collaborate with nursing, care and multidisciplinary teams
- • Maintain accurate clinical notes, records and documentation
- • Apply appropriate aged care clinical practices and procedures
- • Provide and coordinate palliative care when required
- • Use knowledge of AN-ACC in supporting resident care and clinical processes
- • Communicate clearly with residents, families, colleagues and relevant stakeholders
- • Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- • Manage workload and competing priorities effectively
- • Contribute to quality improvement and positive resident outcomes
- • Participate in rostered morning, afternoon and night shifts
