Full-time kitchen job in Port Hedland, WA, for a cook or chef who knows a la carte service.

Key responsibilities
- Prep, cook and serve meals to a high standard, helping on any section when needed
- Hold quality, portions and plating steady on every dish
- Stick to food safety, hygiene and cleaning rules and leave the kitchen clean, safe and in order
- Lend a hand with stock control, orders and rotation, and keep waste low
- Work well in a busy crew and help the kitchen run efficiently
Requirements
- Past experience working as a chef or cook
- Good knowledge of kitchen operations plus food safety
- Can produce high-quality meals consistently
- Reliable under pressure, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Good at communicating and at teamwork
- Willing to live in the local area and work there
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery preferred (relevant experience may be considered instead of formal qualifications) and a Food Safety Certificate preferred; a pre-employment medical with a drug and alcohol test applies
