Job description
An established architectural practice working across large-scale industrial developments is looking for a Graduate Architect with proven Revit and documentation capability to join its technical delivery team in New South Wales. This opportunity is suited to an architect who can demonstrate more than design knowledge — you should be confident producing detailed documentation, coordinating consultants and understanding how architectural information translates into construction. You will work alongside experienced Project Leaders and technical professionals on industrial projects including logistics facilities, warehouses, cold storage and advanced manufacturing developments. Your previous project experience, technical skills and ability to deliver accurate documentation will be central to your success in the role.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and update BIM models using Revit across multiple projects
- Produce detailed architectural construction documentation
- Coordinate consultant information and identify potential conflicts
- Assist with resolving technical and documentation issues throughout project delivery
- Review shop drawings and provide technical coordination support
- Apply NCC requirements and relevant Australian Standards to project documentation
- Support Project Leaders with technical project delivery
- Attend site visits and assist with construction-stage requirements
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across documentation packages
- Help improve Revit workflows, standards and documentation processes
- Collaborate with architects, consultants and project stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of practical Revit documentation experience
- Strong ability in Revit modelling, detailing and construction documentation
- Demonstrated experience contributing to projects through the documentation stage
- Sound understanding of buildability and consultant coordination
- Working knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards
- Ability to interpret and coordinate technical information accurately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative and accountable approach to project work
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related discipline
- Relevant industry experience that demonstrates equivalent technical capability may be considered
- Ability to provide evidence of genuine project and technical experience
