Key responsibilities

  • Take an active role in managing daily restaurant operations
  • Lead hospitality teams and maintain clear service expectations
  • Create a positive and accountable team environment
  • Support consistently high standards of guest service
  • Coordinate team activities during busy service periods
  • Coach and develop staff to improve individual and team performance
  • Monitor venue presentation, cleanliness and operational standards
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and support effective resolutions
  • Assist with staffing and day-to-day operational coordination
  • Monitor sales performance and support strong financial controls
  • Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency and revenue
  • Work alongside senior management on operational and growth initiatives
  • Contribute to the successful opening and operation of hospitality venues

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Manager or similar supervisory position
  • Demonstrable experience leading hospitality teams
  • Genuine hands-on experience within restaurants or high-volume hospitality venues
  • Strong knowledge of professional restaurant service and operations
  • Ability to lead teams with confidence, professionalism and respect
  • Strong communication and guest-service skills
  • Ability to manage pressure and maintain standards during busy periods
  • Understanding of hospitality sales, financial controls and operational performance
  • Evidence of relevant employment history and professional responsibilities
  • Ability to provide supporting employment documents and references when required
  • Willingness to work flexible hospitality hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Candidates must satisfy the relevant requirements to be considered for sponsorship
