Job description

Experienced mechanics are wanted for a busy independent workshop in Auckland, New Zealand. The workshop is an accredited employer able to sponsor staff on the AEWV (Accredited Employer Work Visa).

The role is Automotive Mechanic / WoF Inspector, based in Auckland. It is full-time and permanent, Monday to Saturday. Pay is $30 - $45 per hour.

Two spots are open. Position 1 needs current WoF Inspector authority and adds NZTA-standard WoF inspections to normal workshop tasks. Position 2 is servicing, diagnostics, mechanical repairs and WoF repair work.

Requirements

  • Solid mechanical background in automotive work

  • NZ automotive qualification (preferred)
