An automotive glass company needs a hands-on Branch Manager to run its Alice Springs branch.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee branch workflows and finances against budget, plus rosters, coaching and staff performance
  • Handle stock control and inventory and work with local suppliers so products stay on hand
  • Win more retail, fleet, insurance and trade business and serve customers well by phone and in person
  • Keep WHS standards strict, the store secure and records accurate, and help with basic automotive glass fitting or repairs at peak times (training given on the job)

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Branch Manager, Retail Manager, Service Manager, Workshop Manager or Operations Manager
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Business awareness and good computer skills
  • A current valid driver's licence is mandatory
  • Visa candidates need nomination under Retail Manager (General), ANZSCO 142111
  • Visa candidates also need relevant formal qualifications, suitable management experience, English proficiency and NT DAMA eligibility
