The job is Building Consultant / Senior Building Consultant in Sydney, NSW, a full-time construction and property role with a property risk consultancy.
You handle due diligence checks on property, condition surveys of buildings, make good (dilapidations) reports and advice for owners, investors, insurers and occupiers. Assets range from offices and shops to industrial sites and alternative property.

Key responsibilities
- Technical due diligence on property assets
- Building condition assessments on site
- Make good (dilapidations) reports
- Property advice for owners and investors
- Advice for insurers and occupiers
- Work across commercial, retail, industrial and alternative assets
Requirements
- Degree in Building Surveying (UK), Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years' experience in building consultancy, surveying or property advisory
- Strong inspection, investigation and problem-solving skills, plus clear, concise and technically robust report writing
- Confident with clients and industry professionals
- MRICS or similar professional accreditation (or working towards it) highly regarded
