Job description
We are seeking experienced Carpenters for premium residential construction projects across New South Wales. This opportunity is designed for tradespeople whose practical skills are supported by a genuine work history and who are ready to bring their experience into a professional, high-quality construction environment. Projects include luxury new builds, renovations, structural framing and detailed finishing. You will be expected to deliver quality work, take ownership of your responsibilities and work confidently alongside experienced construction professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Complete carpentry work across premium residential construction projects
- Perform structural framing and timber construction
- Carry out renovation and alteration work
- Complete detailed finishing and fit-out carpentry
- Measure, cut and install materials accurately
- Interpret construction drawings, plans and measurements
- Set out work accurately before commencing installation
- Complete assigned work to project quality and timeframe requirements
- Work independently while coordinating with site supervisors and other trades
- Identify practical issues and communicate them to the relevant site team
- Use carpentry tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
- Follow all applicable workplace health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience as a Carpenter
- Relevant carpentry qualification or equivalent trade experience
- Residential construction experience
- Experience that can be supported through employment records or other relevant evidence
- Ability to demonstrate genuine practical trade skills
- Current White Card
- Valid driver's licence
- Own reliable transport
- Own carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong measuring, cutting and installation skills
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet site expectations
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
