Job description
Golf club kitchen in north-east Victoria hiring a Chef now.
This is a Full-Time Chef job, listed under Shepparton, VIC, paying $75,000 - $80,000 per year. You report to the Head Chef and back up the sous chef and kitchenhands. Trade is growing. Start is immediate. The town is a tourist base for skiing, boating, fishing and hiking.

Key responsibilities
- Cook menu items and check every dish from prep to the pass
- Run and support the cooks, stepping in when needed
- Train new or junior staff and hand out tasks
- Follow hygiene rules, watch food stock and place orders
Requirements
- Cert 3 or higher in commercial cookery, with matching experience
- Minimum 2 years in a commercial kitchen
- Good communicator
- Works well alone or in a team
- Knows OH&S and food hygiene requirements
- Valid work rights in Australia, flexible availability and able to work weekdays and weekends in a 7-day operation
