Job description
Hospital pharmacists are wanted for wards across the Northern Territory.
The job is Clinical Pharmacist, listed in Darwin. Positions are permanent full-time, with short-term contracts also open. Visa sponsorship is offered to eligible candidates who go for a permanent role.
You will work on the wards, check and reconcile medication, counsel patients and team up with doctors, nurses and allied health staff. You need AHPRA registration or eligibility to obtain it; the job does not supply it.

Key responsibilities
- Run ward-based clinical pharmacy services
- Do medication reviews and reconciliation
- Counsel patients and share medicines information
- Keep medication management safe and effective
- Work closely with medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Join quality improvement work
- Join medication safety work
Requirements
- Hospital or clinical pharmacy experience
- Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility to obtain it
- Australian or New Zealand internship completed, in progress or nearly complete (overseas pharmacists with relevant experience also encouraged)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills plus commitment to high-quality patient care
