Job description
Canberra ED hiring Registered Nurses for permanent roles.
You would work in a busy, well-regarded Emergency Department in Canberra, ACT. Choose full time or part time. Rostering is flexible, and the rotation covers nights.
The case mix is broad, covering resus, trauma, kids, mental health and general emergency. New staff get a structured orientation, plus ongoing development and good nurse-to-patient ratios. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Key responsibilities
- Treat patients across resuscitation, trauma, paediatric, mental health and general emergency presentations
- Work nights and other shifts on a rotating roster inside a close multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, current
- Emergency department experience from a previous role
- Highly regarded: triage experience or ED qualifications such as a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing
- ALS/BLS certification held now, or willing to obtain it
- Strong clinical judgement
- Stays composed under pressure and puts the team first
- Available for a rotating roster that includes nights
