Job description
We are seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters to join commercial high-rise construction teams across Western Australia. The role is suited to tradespeople who have built their expertise through substantial hands-on projects and can demonstrate the quality, accuracy and safety awareness expected on major construction sites. This opportunity places emphasis on genuine trade capability and a credible employment history. Candidates may be asked to demonstrate their previous experience and practical skills during the assessment process
Key responsibilities
- Construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures
- Carry out formwork installation on commercial high-rise projects
- Read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications
- Measure, mark and position formwork accurately
- Apply appropriate methods across different formwork systems
- Ensure completed formwork meets required measurements and quality standards
- Identify and address issues during formwork installation
- Work closely with supervisors, site management and other trades
- Maintain safe practices while working in active construction environments
- Follow site procedures, safety requirements and project standards
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining workmanship quality
Requirements
- Substantial experience working as a Formwork Carpenter
- Proven commercial high-rise construction experience
- Practical knowledge of multiple formwork systems
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate and reliable workmanship
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices
- Valid Australian Construction White Card
- Ability to work effectively within a high-rise construction team
- Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving ability
- Professional and reliable approach to site work
- Ability to provide supporting evidence of previous employment and relevant trade experience
- Candidates with suitable verified experience and skills may be considered for visa sponsorship
