Key responsibilities

  • Perform professional haircuts for a range of client requirements
  • Deliver styling and finishing services to a high professional standard
  • Carry out colour services using contemporary salon techniques
  • Conduct thorough consultations before commencing client services
  • Assess client needs and recommend suitable styles and colour options
  • Deliver personalised services while maintaining consistent quality
  • Maintain strong attention to detail throughout each appointment
  • Build trusted professional relationships with clients
  • Work collaboratively with the wider salon team
  • Take part in ongoing technical training and professional development
  • Keep up to date with current styles, techniques, and industry developments
  • Maintain professional salon presentation, hygiene, and workplace standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a qualified hairdresser
  • Genuine hands-on experience within a professional salon
  • Verifiable employment history demonstrating relevant hairdressing experience
  • Proven ability across cutting, styling, colouring, and consultations
  • Practical knowledge of modern colouring techniques
  • Relevant hairdressing qualification or recognised industry training
  • Ability to demonstrate claimed skills and experience through appropriate evidence
  • Strong client communication and consultation skills
  • Professional and reliable approach to work
  • Friendly and service-oriented personality
  • Willingness to participate in structured training and skills development
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 5 months or longer
  • Availability to commence part-time with potential progression to full-time
  • Eligible candidates may be considered for employer sponsorship
