Key responsibilities
- Assist the construction team with piling and foundation works
- Carry out general labouring tasks across active construction projects
- Assist with concreting and steel fixing activities
- Participate in practical training and supervised site work
- Learn safe methods for using construction tools and machinery
- Follow directions from supervisors and experienced team members
- Apply workplace safety and quality procedures consistently
- Prepare, handle, and maintain construction tools and equipment
- Keep work areas organised and free from unnecessary hazards
- Maintain reliable attendance and a professional approach to daily work
- Develop a broader range of practical construction skills
- Take on more complex duties as experience and capability increase
- Work towards future senior crew and leadership responsibilities
Requirements
- Physically capable of performing hands-on construction work
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to regular work
- Genuine willingness to learn and develop practical skills
- Able to follow instructions accurately
- Able to work cooperatively within a construction crew
- Previous construction or labouring experience is advantageous but not essential
- Experience in concreting, steel fixing, piling, or machinery operation is beneficial
- Willing to complete workplace training and follow site requirements
- Able to demonstrate genuine previous employment or relevant practical experience where applicable
- Strong work ethic and responsible approach to workplace duties
- Suitable candidates may be considered for sponsorship
