Full-time Registered Nurse job leading care in a Hervey Bay aged care home, with a sponsorship pathway for the right candidate.
The job is in Hervey Bay, QLD. It is full-time. You care for residents directly and you also run the floor, directing graduate RNs, ENs, student nurses and care workers.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the care team on shift and direct graduate RNs, ENs, student nurses and Personal Care Workers
- Assess residents, take vital signs, and manage medicines and treatments
- Write and carry out individual care plans, then give evidence-based care in line with them alongside residents and staff
- Review staff performance regularly and support each person to develop
- Liaise with residents, families, clinical staff, GPs, allied health and external organisations
Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing and current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Aged care experience, current professional and ethical practice in aged care and infection control (meeting legal and AHPRA requirements and the Nurses Code of Conduct), and willingness to complete ongoing mandatory training
