A regional hospital in Bairnsdale, VIC, is hiring dual-registered midwives and nurses for its maternity unit.

This is a full-time Registered Nurse / Midwife job. You give continuity of care through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal weeks. You handle obstetric emergencies. You share care with GP obstetricians. The hospital is baby-friendly accredited and its maternity ward is being enhanced. The team is small, supportive and lets staff shape daily decisions, with professional development built in.

  • Level 3 fetal surveillance qualification (support to attain it is given if needed)
