Vehicle Wrap Installer / Sign Writer

Job description

A strong vehicle wrap is easy to recognise — clean edges, smooth application, accurate positioning and a finish that stands up to close inspection. We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Wrap Installer in Western Australia who can demonstrate that level of workmanship through genuine industry experience and a portfolio of completed projects. This role is designed for a professional who knows the technical side of vehicle graphics and takes ownership of the finished result. You’ll work across cars, utes, vans, trucks and trailers, with opportunities to contribute to broader signage production and installation. Candidates will be assessed on their relevant experience, practical skills and evidence of previous work.

Key responsibilities

  • Install high-quality full and partial vehicle wraps
  • Apply spot graphics and vehicle branding accurately
  • Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces before installation
  • Work confidently around complex curves, edges, recesses and contours
  • Complete vehicle graphics for individual vehicles and fleet projects
  • Check alignment, positioning and finishing quality throughout installations
  • Work with designers to accurately interpret supplied artwork
  • Carry out laminating, weeding, cutting and graphic finishing
  • Assist with wider signage installation projects when required
  • Communicate professionally with customers during installation projects
  • Identify application issues and resolve practical installation challenges
  • Maintain an efficient, clean and safe workshop
  • Complete work independently while supporting team objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in vehicle wrapping and sign writing
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with professional vehicle wraps
  • Portfolio showing genuine completed vehicle wrapping projects
  • Experience with full wraps and complex vehicle applications
  • Strong understanding of vinyl films, laminates and application techniques
  • Ability to produce clean, precise and consistent finishes
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to demonstrate previous technical experience through completed work
  • Confident communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Valid Australian C Class driver's licence
  • Knowledge of 3M, Avery Dennison or Arlon materials is advantageous
  • 3M, Avery Dennison or similar manufacturer certification is advantageous
  • EWP, Working at Heights and White Card qualifications are advantageous
  • Vehicle detailing or paint protection film preparation experience is advantageous
  • Welding or light fabrication experience is advantageous
  • Ability to provide a resume and portfolio for experience verification
  • Sponsorship available for a suitably qualified candidate
