We are looking for qualified and experienced Aged Care Workers and Personal Care Assistants who are ready to take the next step in their professional journey in Australia. Requirements
- • Deliver compassionate and person-centred care to residents
- • Assist residents with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- • Provide support with mobility, transfers and appropriate mobility equipment
- • Assist residents with meals, hydration and feeding where required
- • Offer companionship, reassurance and day-to-day emotional support
- • Encourage participation in suitable activities and social engagement
- • Support residents with established daily routines and individual care needs
- • Follow individual care plans and workplace care procedures
- • Monitor and report relevant changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing
- • Record care activities, observations and progress accurately
- • Follow infection control, manual handling and occupational health and safety procedures
- • Work closely with nurses, care staff, allied health professionals and residents’ families
- • Maintain confidentiality and respect residents’ privacy and dignity
- • Consider residents’ cultural needs, personal preferences and individual choices
- • Promote independence, comfort, safety and overall wellbeing
