Job description

Enrolled Nurse needed in Perth, WA for hands-on patient care with a Registered Nurse supervising.

The basics are simple. Full-time and permanent. $85,000 - $95,000 per year. The company is WA-owned and does in-home care, community nursing and DVA work. It also supplies nurses to hospitals and aged care homes. Sites vary between the CBD and suburbs on either side of the river. You report to the Clinical Care Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess, plan and deliver nursing care with an RN supervising
  • Give medications. Monitor how treatment is working
  • Help coordinate patient care and help evaluate it
  • Join health education and health promotion activities
  • Give direct patient care, personal hygiene help included
  • Support RNs with clinical procedures and patient assessments
  • Keep clinical documentation accurate
  • Follow Work Health and Safety legislation and keep infection control standards up
  • Report incidents and hazards promptly

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration with a relevant nursing qualification for an Enrolled Nurse
  • Community nursing and home care experience, with a minimum of one year's full-time relevant experience
  • National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check, each current
  • Manual Handling Certificate (current) and Infection Control certificate
  • Valid driver's licence; NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Up-to-date (current) COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
