Key responsibilities
- Give safe, kind, evidence-based care in ED, acute and aged care settings
- Plan, deliver and evaluate each patient's care with carers and the multidisciplinary team
- Cover Nurse in Charge shifts, including ED triage, acute wards and aged care
- Join quality improvement projects and keep the patient experience positive
Requirements
- Registered Nurse who holds a current AHPRA registration
- A capable, confident clinician who is ready for a rural healthcare environment
- Works independently and also collaborates inside a multidisciplinary team
- Has experience as Nurse in Charge across ED (including triage), acute and aged care, or is willing to do it
- Patient-centred approach, with strong communication, clinical assessment and decision-making
- Immunisation and screening for certain diseases applies (Category A position)
