Job description

We are seeking a capable Brick Paver / Hard Landscaper for commercial projects in Western Australia. This opportunity is aimed at tradespeople who understand that long-term success is built on more than technical skills. Reliability, consistency, teamwork and a willingness to take responsibility are equally important. You will work on commercial paving and hard landscaping projects across metropolitan areas, with the opportunity to establish yourself within a professional team and progress into greater responsibility over time.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out commercial paving and hard landscaping works
  • Install brick and block paving to required standards
  • Prepare and condition surfaces for installation
  • Measure and establish accurate levels
  • Set out paving areas according to project requirements
  • Cut, position and finish paving materials
  • Operate relevant tools and equipment safely
  • Complete finishing and edging work
  • Maintain quality and productivity standards
  • Work cooperatively with other team members
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas
  • Comply with site safety procedures and requirements
  • Travel to various metropolitan project sites
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving ability
  • Develop toward Leading Hand and supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in brick paving or hard landscaping
  • Proven practical ability in commercial or similar environments
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attitude
  • Quality-focused approach to workmanship
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and accept additional responsibilities
  • White Card
  • Reliable transport
  • Willingness to travel throughout metropolitan areas
  • Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
  • Strong commitment to safety

  • Ability to meet Australian employment requirements
