Requirements

• • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based midwifery care
• • Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
• • Support women throughout labour and birth
• • Assess, monitor and document maternal and newborn wellbeing
• • Recognise changes in clinical condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• • Develop and maintain individualised care plans
• • Provide clear education and guidance to women and families
• • Support breastfeeding, newborn care and early parenting needs
• • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
• • Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, neonatal and allied health professionals
• • Participate in clinical education and ongoing professional development
• • Contribute to continuous improvement in maternity services and patient outcomes
• • Provide appropriate support and guidance to student and graduate midwives
