Casual Registered Nurse wanted for an aged care home in Canberra, ACT.

The pay is $41.19 - $51.14 per hour on a casual basis, across a roster of morning, afternoon and night shifts. Visa and PR sponsorship is offered, and you need Australian work rights already in place.

The job covers resident assessments, care plans, clinical calls and coaching carers, inside a supportive team that backs your development.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Good at managing time and meeting objectives and timelines
  • Exceptional people and communication skills
  • Responds effectively in an emergency
  • Effective at solving problems
  • Works independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible for rotating mornings, afternoons and nights
  • Genuine care and compassion for older people
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Fully vaccinated: COVID-19 (plus booster where eligible) and influenza
  • Pre-employment medical with a drug and alcohol screen
  • Willing to undergo a criminal background check
