Job description
An aged care provider in regional Western Australia needs a Registered Nurse to lead clinical care for its residents.
This is a full-time Registered Nurse role in residential aged care, with Perth the nearest main city. You will run resident assessments, manage care plans, give medications and guide care staff. Sponsorship may be available for eligible Registered Nurses already residing in Australia.

Key responsibilities
- Run clinical assessments and act fast on health changes
- Build and review person-centred care plans with residents and families
- Give medications and clinical treatments to professional standards
- Lead, mentor and guide care staff
- Work with GPs, allied health and external providers on resident care
- Keep clinical notes, reports and AN-ACC documentation accurate and on time
- Follow the Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practice
- Take part in infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement
Requirements
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (current)
- 2+ years working as an RN in aged care (or equivalent)
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Strong care coordination skills
- Able to guide staff in wound and diabetes management
- Sound knowledge of medication systems
- Excellent communicator, team player and problem-solver
