Job description

A growing scaffolding team in [State] is seeking capable Scaffolders and Scaffold Labourers who can demonstrate the practical skills, required tickets and dependable attitude needed for demanding construction environments. The focus is on bringing together workers whose experience and qualifications can be clearly demonstrated and matched to ongoing site requirements. If you are safety-conscious, physically capable and committed to consistent work, this opportunity offers 40–60 hours per week, ongoing employment and competitive overtime rates.

Requirements

• • Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding systems in accordance with site requirements
• • Inspect scaffold components and equipment before and during use
• • Ensure scaffold structures are stable, secure and compliant with safety requirements
• • Perform work at height using appropriate fall protection systems
• • Use scaffolding tools and equipment safely and correctly
• • Follow site procedures, safety requirements and supervisor directions
• • Identify and report hazards, defects and unsafe working conditions
• • Work closely with other scaffolders, labourers and construction personnel
• • Maintain scaffolding equipment and materials in good working condition
• • Complete assigned work efficiently without compromising safety or quality
• • Support scaffolders during erection, alteration and dismantling work
• • Move and organise scaffolding materials, components and equipment
• • Prepare tools, materials and work areas for scaffolding activities
• • Load and unload materials using safe manual-handling practices
• • Assist with general site preparation and clean-up
• • Follow instructions provided by scaffolders and supervisors
• • Maintain a safe and organised work environment
• • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• • Carry out physically demanding duties safely throughout the workday
• • Develop practical scaffolding skills through ongoing site experience
