Requirements
- • Carry out climbing-based tree-care operations safely and professionally
- • Complete pruning, trimming and removal work according to project requirements
- • Perform ground duties and provide effective support to climbing operations
- • Operate chainsaws, climbing systems and arboricultural equipment safely
- • Use appropriate climbing, rigging and tree-care techniques
- • Work across residential, commercial, council, utility and land-clearance projects
- • Follow site-specific risk controls and established safety procedures
- • Assess work conditions and select appropriate methods for each task
- • Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- • Work efficiently alongside arborists, ground crew and other site personnel
- • Maintain and inspect climbing gear, tools, machinery and personal protective equipment
- • Keep vehicles, equipment and work areas clean and organised
- • Participate in health and safety meetings and refresher training
- • Engage in ongoing skills development and industry training
- • Maintain professional standards when dealing with clients and team members
- • Support the wider team in completing projects safely and on schedule
