Full-time metal trades work in Perth and regional WA for qualified boilermakers, fabricators, welders and pipefitters, with sponsorship available.

Key responsibilities
- Follow isometrics, shop drawings, work packs and fabrication details
- Fabricate, fit, assemble, weld and repair to spec, safely and to quality standards
- Pipefitters: spools, piping systems, fit-ups, flanges, valves and supports, all measured and built in-house
- Welders: TIG on duplex, stainless, carbon and exotics, or FCAW on structural parts, to approved procedures. Boilermakers: structural steel, platework, tanks, chutes, hoppers and heavy industrial parts
- Run workshop gear safely, keep the area clean, join pre-starts and safety inspections, flag hazards, incidents, defects and quality issues fast, and pass weld tests as required
Requirements
- Trade certificate: Boilermaker, Metal Fabricator, Welding Trade, Pipe Fitting or equivalent
- Workshop fabrication and construction industry experience you can show
- Reads and interprets engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Proven work to fabrication tolerances and quality requirements, plus a strong grasp of workshop safety
- Construction Industry White Card preferred. Desirable extras: AS/NZS welder qualifications and tickets for confined space, working at heights, forklift, EWP, rigging or dogging, plus first aid
- Manual handling, PPE, overtime and shift work when required
