Job description

We are seeking a CNC Joiner / Cabinetmaker who can bring practical experience, attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality into a modern cabinetry manufacturing environment. You’ll work across CNC machining, cabinet assembly, finishing and production while helping create high-quality plywood kitchens, cabinetry and furniture. This opportunity is open to candidates with experience gained in New Zealand or overseas. Specific CNC machinery experience is useful, but the right attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn are equally important. The goal is to find someone who can demonstrate genuine capability and develop into a highly skilled specialist over time.

Requirements

• Operate CNC machinery used in cabinetry and furniture production
• Machine and prepare plywood components accurately
• Assemble and finish cabinetry, kitchens and furniture
• Interpret production requirements and work to required specifications
• Inspect components and completed products for quality
• Identify defects, production issues and opportunities for improvement
• Troubleshoot practical manufacturing problems
• Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout production
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and efficient
• Follow Lean manufacturing and 3S workplace practices
• Contribute practical ideas to improve production methods
• Support installation activities when required
• Work collaboratively with production and workshop team members
• Take ownership of allocated work and meet required standards
• Maintain safe and professional working practices
• Develop technical knowledge across CNC and modern joinery processes
• Participate in workplace training and continuous-improvement activities
