Key responsibilities

  • Work on building and civil jobs in several areas
  • Framing, formwork and other carpentry and building duties
  • Concrete placing, steel fixing, reinforcing, trowelling and finishing
  • Brickwork, blockwork and masonry
  • Roof installation and cladding
  • Floor laying, tiling and flooring fit-out
  • Plastering, gib fixing, plasterboard stopping and painting
  • Plumbing, drainlaying and pipe laying
  • Electrical, trade-assistant, HVAC and ventilation installation, plus glazing and general site work

Requirements

  • Construction industry experience from the previous 12 months
  • Fit for physically demanding manual work
  • Follows instructions well
  • Works effectively within a team
  • Basic understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Can safely use basic hand and power tools
  • Reliable, punctual and happy to work outdoors
