Key responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical plant and equipment
- Complete electrical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Perform planned preventative maintenance
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and corrective maintenance requirements
- Support safe and reliable daily plant operations
- Monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Contribute to plant reliability initiatives
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams
- Assist with developing practical maintenance solutions
- Help improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety requirements
- Follow all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures
Requirements
- Current Australian Electrical Licence – essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant industrial environment
- Background in manufacturing, processing, mining or similar industries
- Strong hands-on electrical troubleshooting ability
- Good understanding of preventative maintenance
- Strong safety awareness and commitment
- Ability to solve technical problems effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Verifiable qualifications and employment experience
- Instrumentation experience is highly regarded
- SAP knowledge is highly regarded
- Suitable candidates may be considered for visa sponsorship subject to applicable eligibility requirements
