Key responsibilities

  • Build and install formwork structures
  • Dismantle and remove formwork safely
  • Measure and prepare materials for construction
  • Cut and assemble timber and other materials
  • Read and follow construction plans and drawings
  • Carry out general carpentry work
  • Use hand and power tools correctly
  • Maintain accurate and quality workmanship
  • Complete construction tasks according to site requirements
  • Follow all workplace safety and site procedures
  • Keep work areas clean and hazard-free
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other trades
  • Work independently when required
  • Move between project sites as directed
  • Support project completion within required deadlines

Requirements

  • Experienced Formwork Carpenter or skilled All-Round Carpenter
  • Proven hands-on construction experience
  • Relevant carpentry qualification desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate and verify previous trade experience
  • White Card
  • Current driver's licence preferred
  • Reliable vehicle or transport
  • Own suitable carpentry tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good understanding of construction site safety
  • Reliable and physically capable of performing required duties
  • Flexible to work across different sites
  • Willing to travel for regional projects
  • Willing to complete required employment checks
  • Must meet applicable requirements for sponsorship consideration
  • Sponsorship available for the right candidate
