We are looking for a Qualified and Registered Early Childhood Education Teacher specialising in infant care to join a professional early learning team in New Zealand. Requirements
- • Provide consistent, attentive, and responsive care for infants
- • Develop trusting relationships that support children's emotional security and wellbeing
- • Recognise individual infant needs, routines, interests, and developmental stages
- • Create purposeful learning experiences based on children's interests and development
- • Use observation to identify learning opportunities and inform teaching decisions
- • Prepare effective learning plans and maintain accurate assessment records
- • Document children's learning and development through meaningful observations
- • Communicate openly and professionally with whanau about children's experiences and progress
- • Support daily routines while maintaining a strong focus on safety, comfort, and wellbeing
- • Create an inclusive environment where every child's identity, language, and culture is respected
- • Develop culturally responsive learning experiences and teaching practices
- • Contribute to bicultural practice and uphold the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- • Work collaboratively with other kaiako to provide consistent educational outcomes
- • Contribute to centre planning, meetings, activities, and everyday operations
- • Share professional ideas and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- • Reflect on teaching practice and respond positively to professional feedback
- • Participate in mentoring, professional learning, and development opportunities
- • Maintain professional standards and contribute to a positive team culture
