Key responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance
- Complete brake inspections, repairs and replacements
- Carry out suspension repairs, maintenance and upgrades
- Diagnose and repair general mechanical faults
- Inspect vehicles and determine required repairs
- Use automotive tools and diagnostic equipment appropriately
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards
- Follow workshop safety and operational procedures
- Maintain an organised and professional work environment
- Explain vehicle issues and repair requirements to customers
- Work cooperatively with other workshop staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of motor mechanic experience
- Genuine hands-on experience in automotive repairs and servicing
- Verifiable employment and professional experience
- Relevant automotive qualification preferred
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic capabilities
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Prepared to provide supporting evidence of qualifications and work history
- Suitable overseas applicants may be considered for sponsorship
