Job description

An Auckland compliance centre needs an Automotive Mechanic for steady weekday work.

The job is permanent and full-time, Monday to Friday, in Auckland, New Zealand. Pay is listed at $30 - $35 per hour. You will strip imported cars for inspection, service and repair a wide mix of vehicles and fetch parts from suppliers. Basic computer skills matter, as invoices, WOF inspections and repair time all go into the system.

Key responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least three years of proven automotive car mechanic experience
  • New Zealand citizenship or residency
  • New Zealand driver licence
  • Follows safety protocols closely
  • Organised and proactive
  • Good at multitasking and meeting timelines
  • Good communicator; computer knowledge is an advantage
  • Able to provide references
