Job description
A busy Sydney pub needs a Duty Manager to run shifts and lead the team.
The role is full-time and pays $80,000 to $85,000 per year. The pub has loyal regulars and steady trade across bar, gaming, sport, events and guest rooms. It sits within a larger hotel group with clear standards. Sponsorship is available.
You will own each shift and help on both front and back of house. It suits a seasoned Duty Manager or a senior supervisor ready to step up. There is room to grow within the group.

Key responsibilities
- Lead shifts across bar, gaming, functions and guest rooms
- Open and close the venue
- Handle cash and shift reports
- Support functions and events
- Order stock, track it and liaise with suppliers
- Help build rosters and manage labour costs
- Keep RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS and food safety compliance on track
- Help with local marketing and in-venue promotions
- Coach the team and keep service and guest experience high
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year as a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor
- Gaming, TAB and KENO experience
- Current ARCG, RCG and RSA
- Strong leadership presence and clear, strong communication
- Calm, organised and focused on solutions
- At ease balancing service, people and compliance
- Back-of-house experience highly regarded
- Functions, guest rooms, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing experience is favourable
