Job description

We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics for a verified employment opportunity in Western Australia. This position is aimed at skilled tradespeople whose identity, qualifications and relevant work experience can be confidently validated before progressing through the recruitment process. The role provides a varied field-based workload, with opportunities to work on heavy equipment across demanding operational environments. From fault diagnostics and breakdown response to scheduled maintenance, shutdown support and equipment movements, no two days are exactly the same.

Requirements

• • Carry out field-based repairs, servicing and maintenance on heavy equipment
• • Diagnose mechanical faults and complete effective repair solutions
• • Respond to breakdowns and provide timely technical support
• • Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
• • Assist with shutdown activities and equipment movement projects
• • Conduct inspections to identify wear, faults and maintenance requirements
• • Maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship
• • Manage assigned jobs and complete work within required timeframes
• • Prepare accurate maintenance records, reports and service documentation
• • Communicate professionally with clients, site representatives and team members
• • Follow established safety procedures and site requirements
• • Contribute to a positive, reliable and collaborative work environment
