We are recruiting an experienced and qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic for a permanent opportunity in Victoria. The successful candidate will join a busy and professional heavy vehicle workshop and work across servicing, diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance and warranty work. This role involves working with heavy trucks, trailers and commercial vehicles while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and workmanship. Requirements

• • Service and repair heavy diesel vehicles
• • Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance
• • Diagnose mechanical faults
• • Diagnose electrical and electronic faults
• • Repair trucks, trailers and heavy commercial vehicles
• • Perform warranty repairs
• • Conduct inspections and identify maintenance requirements
• • Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot faults
• • Repair and replace defective parts
• • Test and inspect vehicles following repairs
• • Complete service and repair documentation
• • Follow manufacturer and workshop procedures
• • Maintain high standards of workmanship
• • Work safely at all times
• • Keep work areas clean and organised
• • Work effectively with the wider workshop team
• • Participate in technical training and development
