A Brisbane electrical engineering and manufacturing business wants an experienced HV/MV Electrical Engineer for its growing engineering team.
The job is full-time in Brisbane, QLD, paying $100,000 - $135,000 per year. The company designs, builds, tests and commissions low, medium and high voltage equipment. Think switchboards, motor control centres, switchrooms, transportable substations, power distribution systems and protection and control panels. Clients sit in utilities, mining, renewable energy, infrastructure and industry.

Key responsibilities
- Handle HV and MV systems, from switchboards and switchgear to switchrooms and transportable substations, and interpret the drawings, specifications and technical documents behind them
- Back up power distribution and protection and control projects
- Team up with engineering, manufacturing, testing, quality and project staff
Requirements
- Registered Electrical Engineer (Australian registration)
- At least 2 years in relevant industry roles
- HV and/or MV systems experience
- Switchboard, switchgear, substation, protection and control or power distribution experience rated highly
- Reads electrical drawings, specifications and technical documents
- Strong technical skills and problem solving
- Knows the relevant Australian Standards
- Works well with engineering, manufacturing, project and testing teams
- Comfortable working across all of those teams day to day
