A verified engineering and maintenance opportunity is available in Western Australia for a qualified and experienced Metal Fabricator (Boilermaker Welder). This full-time position provides exposure to a varied range of fabrication, assembly, maintenance and repair work involving fixed and mobile plant equipment. Requirements

• • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• • Plan and prepare fabrication work
• • Measure and mark out materials
• • Cut, bend and shape metal components
• • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components
• • Perform welding and finishing work
• • Carry out plant repairs and maintenance
• • Support fixed plant and mobile plant maintenance activities
• • Respond to equipment breakdowns
• • Complete field-based repair and fabrication work
• • Undertake workshop fabrication and assembly
• • Conduct quality inspections of completed work
• • Ensure fabricated components meet required specifications
• • Operate fabrication machinery and equipment
• • Perform routine maintenance of workshop machinery
• • Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• • Maintain high standards of workmanship and housekeeping
