We are inviting experienced Panel Beaters to be considered for a genuine automotive repair opportunity in Victoria, Australia. This role is aimed at skilled tradespeople who can demonstrate a clear professional history, relevant qualifications and practical capability in vehicle body and smash repairs. Requirements
- • Review repair instructions and job sheets before commencing work
- • Inspect vehicle damage and identify required repair procedures
- • Check replacement parts to confirm they are correct and free from defects
- • Remove damaged panels, frames and related vehicle components
- • Repair or replace vehicle body panels and structural sections
- • Carry out metal shaping, straightening, cutting and welding work
- • Complete fabrication work using appropriate repair methods and workshop equipment
- • Perform rust treatment and prepare affected areas for repair
- • Carry out frame alignment and structural repair work where required
- • Apply body filler and complete sanding and surface preparation
- • Disassemble vehicles carefully before repair work
- • Reassemble vehicles accurately after repairs are completed
- • Ensure all work is completed to required quality and industry standards
- • Handle all customer and company vehicles with care and professionalism
- • Use workshop tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good working condition
- • Keep the work area clean, organised and safe
- • Follow all workplace health and safety requirements, including PPE procedures
- • Work closely with other workshop team members
- • Maintain awareness of current repair techniques and industry developments
