Job description
A Perth bakery needs a trade-qualified baker for permanent, full-time work, and the role is simple to sum up. You make dough, run the ovens and turn out loaves, rolls, buns and savoury lines.

Key responsibilities
- Prepare dough by mixing, kneading, dividing and moulding to recipe and schedule
- Watch proofing, oven heat and baking time
- Bake and present quality bread, rolls, buns and savoury items every time
- Help train apprentices and bakery assistants
- Keep the bakery clean; follow food and workplace safety rules
- Handle stock checks, ingredient orders and waste cutting
- Work with the bakery manager and the team to hit daily production, and serve customers with a smile when needed
Requirements
- Recognised baking trade qualification
- Minimum two years of relevant commercial baking experience
- Strong practical skills with bread and yeast-based products
- Cares about quality, food safety and a spotless workspace
- Good communicator, team player, steady in a high-volume production setting
- Early starts, weekends and public holidays as rostered
