An established hospitality business is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista for a verified employment opportunity in Otago, New Zealand. We are looking for someone who can bring together strong coffee-making skills, efficient service and a professional approach to customer care. You will play an important role in maintaining the quality, consistency and atmosphere of a busy café while working within a supportive team environment. Requirements

• • Prepare espresso-based coffee and other hot drinks to required standards
• • Maintain consistent extraction, milk preparation and beverage presentation
• • Operate commercial coffee equipment safely and efficiently
• • Deliver fast and accurate service during peak trading periods
• • Engage professionally with customers and respond to service requests
• • Take orders and process payments when required
• • Use the POS system accurately
• • Prepare and present café food products
• • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the work area
• • Clean and care for coffee machines and related equipment
• • Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, cups and other supplies
• • Report replenishment requirements
• • Assist with café opening and closing responsibilities
• • Follow all workplace, hygiene and food safety procedures
