A structural steel opportunity is available for a proven Boilermaker who takes pride in precision, reliability and safe trade practices. The position is based in New South Wales and is suited to a qualified tradesperson who can confidently turn technical drawings and specifications into accurate, high-quality fabricated work. Rather than simply filling a position, this opportunity is focused on matching genuine trade capability with a team that values dependable workmanship. You will work across structural steel fabrication and MIG welding while contributing to project delivery alongside other skilled tradespeople. The position offers an immediate start, Monday-to-Friday work and the possibility of ongoing employment for the right person.

Requirements

• • Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
• • Fabricate structural steel components to required dimensions and specifications
• • Measure, mark, cut and prepare steel materials
• • Fit and assemble structural steel sections accurately
• • Perform MIG welding and associated fabrication tasks
• • Inspect welds, joints and finished components for quality
• • Use fabrication machinery, hand tools and power tools safely
• • Complete work accurately within project and production requirements
• • Identify and communicate fabrication, quality or safety issues
• • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and site requirements
• • Maintain correct PPE and safe working practices
• • Keep workspaces clean, organised and safe
• • Work closely with other trades and project team members
• • Contribute to efficient project delivery and agreed production schedules
