Job description
A busy Perth Asian restaurant needs an experienced Chef de Partie or Commis Chef.
This is a full-time job in Perth, WA, paying $72,000 to $80,000 a year. The venue is an award-winning modern Asian restaurant. It opens seven days for lunch and dinner. Expect over 1,000 covers a week.
The kitchen is shared. It feeds several venues in one hospitality precinct. The workload is high and varied. Senior chefs train and develop future leaders. Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities
- Serve consistent, exceptional food every service
- Follow senior chefs' and managers' recipes and directions
- Cover pans, wok and fryers
- Cover larder and grill
- Work on your own initiative at high volume and fast pace
- Back up the shared kitchen supplying the precinct's venues
Requirements
- At least 3 years chef experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
- Asian cuisine experience preferred, not essential
- Experience matching the position you apply for
- Commercial cookery certificate
- Flexible hours, including weekends
- Flexible hours on public holidays too
- Drive, and willingness to grow into a leadership role
