Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food across daily kitchen operations
  • Assist with mise en place and general food preparation
  • Deliver meals consistently during busy service periods
  • Maintain required standards for taste, quality and presentation
  • Follow established recipes and kitchen procedures
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
  • Store and rotate ingredients correctly
  • Assist with stock management and kitchen organisation
  • Keep workstations clean and ready for service
  • Work cooperatively with chefs and kitchen team members
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Support efficient kitchen operations throughout each shift
  • Maintain professional standards and positive workplace relationships

Requirements

  • Previous professional experience as a Cook or Chef
  • Commercial kitchen experience is required
  • High-volume hospitality experience is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to produce consistent food quality
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively within a team
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
  • Commitment to food safety and workplace standards
  • Professional attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to demonstrate genuine and verifiable hospitality experience
  • Must already be residing in Perth, Western Australia
  • Eligible visa holders currently residing in Perth are encouraged to apply
  • Must be willing to complete the applicable qualifying period
  • Full-time opportunities may be available to successful candidates
