For eligible relocating candidates, the position also provides practical employment support including on-site accommodation, internet access and meals while on shift.

Requirements

  • • Manage and coordinate day-to-day kitchen operations
  • • Lead kitchen staff and maintain an effective team workflow
  • • Prepare and cook meals to a consistently high commercial standard
  • • Deliver quality steak dishes with attention to cooking and presentation
  • • Review existing food offerings and identify opportunities for improvement
  • • Develop new dinner menu selections
  • • Introduce and improve takeaway meal options
  • • Expand dine-in offerings to suit customer demand
  • • Refresh and improve breakfast selections
  • • Maintain food quality, consistency, portion control and presentation
  • • Coordinate preparation and service during high-volume periods
  • • Monitor kitchen inventory and arrange stock orders
  • • Maintain effective stock rotation and storage practices
  • • Reduce food wastage through efficient preparation and stock management
  • • Support kitchen staff training and day-to-day supervision
  • • Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and hygiene
  • • Identify opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency and service quality
  • • Work with management to support the ongoing development of the food operation
