Job description

Experienced Climbing Arborists are invited to join a professional New Zealand tree care team offering a wide variety of work and excellent support for the right candidates. The role provides competitive pay, additional allowances, paid training, supplied PPE and potential visa and relocation support. Candidates relocating from overseas can also receive assistance with finding accommodation.

Requirements

• • Undertake climbing arborist duties across a range of work sites
• • Complete tree reductions, pruning and technical removals
• • Carry out commercial, rural and residential tree work
• • Perform climbing, rigging and dismantling operations
• • Operate arboricultural machinery and specialist equipment
• • Work safely in accordance with established procedures
• • Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• • Assist with emergency tree work and callouts
• • Work alongside ground crews and machinery operators
• • Protect retained trees, vegetation and surrounding property
• • Attend paid training and skills development sessions
• • Maintain tools, machinery and PPE in good working condition
• • Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
• • Follow all workplace health and safety requirements
