Key responsibilities
- Install, service and repair plumbing systems
- Carry out qualified gasfitting work
- Complete commercial and general plumbing projects
- Diagnose faults and undertake necessary repairs
- Read plans, drawings and job specifications
- Select and use appropriate tools and equipment
- Complete work safely, efficiently and accurately
- Maintain compliance with relevant industry standards
- Work independently and alongside other tradespeople
- Provide quality service to customers
- Maintain clean, safe and organised work areas
Requirements
- Qualified Plumber and Gasfitter
- Relevant industry experience
- Strong practical plumbing skills
- Strong gasfitting knowledge and experience
- Commercial experience highly regarded
- Reliable and hardworking personality
- Positive approach to work
- Ability to work independently
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- High standards of workmanship
- Good customer service skills
- Eligible for New Zealand employer-sponsored work visa
